Exactly what we ( my husband and I) were thinking of!

Here I was reading through some blogs and I happen to come across this wonderful blog about little kitchen cupboard from Little Red Farm. This is definitely going to be in our to-do list at home since we were already thinking of moving the cereal containers within the children's reach. Now if only I can easily find such small pitchers...

Here is the picture of the little kitchen cupboard. We'll be posting ours hopefully soon!

Definitely something valuable to teach independence to young children. Thanks Rachael for this brilliant idea.

    Hi Lana,
    Best of luck finding the pitchers! Ours came from Auchan but I don't think you have those in the Netherlands?
    Another good tip is to allow your children to fill the cupboard with clean items from the dishwasher (or pass them to your child) to help reinforce that they are special for the child.

    Hi Rachael,

    Still no luck with the jugs but the cupboard is working great! Katie is so proud of her "place in the kitchen"and the little one just loves the fact that his nuts and cereals are so handy for him to get. I'll definitely post it one of these days. Keep forgetting to ask hubby to picture it.
